The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources reminds students that there is still time to enter the Third Annual Governor's Youth Wild Turkey & Bass Challenge. The deadline is April 1, 2003.

Trapping Seasons Set to Close on February 28

The West Virginia Division of Natural Resources reminds trappers that trapping seasons for raccoon, fox, bobcat, mink, muskrat, skunk, opossum, weasel and coyote are set to close on February 28, 2002. Trapping season for beaver continues through March 30, 2002. Beaver, bobcat and fisher pelts must be tagged at an official game checking station, or by a Division of Natural Resources' representative within 30 days of the close of the season.
